Recently, our fabulous teacher, Karen, (she's the one in the pink top) began teaching the Fiddlehead Mitten once again. She has taught this lined, stranded mitten before and each time, we have had full classes. On cold, February evenings a group of adventurous knitters gathered to learn from the master of all Fiddleheads, Karen.
Night after night, week after week, this group met to knit.

You may notice that some knitters only have their wrists covered. No, this is not a fashion statement but rather came about from some mittens being XXXL rather than Ladies small. These smart knitters didn't get discouraged, rather they ripped and ripped. Back in the early days of my career, I worked in the Buyer Training Program in New York City at Bloomingdales in none other than Ladies Hats, Gloves and Scarves. I feel as if I'm a kindred spirit with these Fiddleheaders. Oh the stories we could tell about covering our hands.
