Today, July 30th is a big day at Wild Purls. We are preparing for our Anniversary Sale tomorrow. What a day it will be! So much is on sale that it makes my head spin.

It also happens to be a 0 (zero) birthday for me. Yep, I turned the big five oh today.

Ever since I had children of my own, I began to admire my mother more and more. This year in particular we have had a very hot week and I can’t imagine having a child during the hottest part of the summer. But my mom did. So mom, thanks for sticking with me all these years. I look forward to having you come knit with us today.

Tomorrow at the sale, share in a piece of birthday cake for the store, for me and for my mom.
Happy Anniversary Wild Purls. We will start our 5th year on Monday morning.

 

This Saturday, July 24 at 8am or whenever you can roll out of bed, we will be gathering at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Billings for our second KNIT IN PUBLIC event of the summer. We will meet at Rock Creek Coffee and sit outside (bring your lawn chairs)under Sky Point.

An early morning of knitting and crocheting with other enthusiasts will be great fun. Be sure to join us for this early morning romp. We will be discussing the upcoming Anniversary Sale on July 31st and if you listen closely, we will let you in on what yarns will be on sale.

Our mystery guest has her own personal family of deer who frequent her yard. This year one mama has twins and the other a single.
