Congratulations on finishing the 30 day yoga challenge! I met one of your yoga compatriots at the Y - her name is Jo.

Thank you for these last two posts. I read them this morning and cried. I guess I needed the reminder to "enjoy the process", both in knitting and in life. I'm so grateful for knitting and for you and Wild Purls.

Hello Julie, Marie or whomever else is answering these questions,
Margit gave my daughter, Britt, the Gnome and Mushroom pattern for Christmas. Britt is trying to make up the mushroom. We have a question on the instructions for Round 3: If you increase 1, k1 for the whole round wouldn't you get 24 stitches not 18? Then again on Round 3 wouldn't you have 32 stitches if you increased based on the number from Round 3?
I'm probably just missing something really obvious.
Thanks for helping us out.

Thanks all of you for such a wonderful weekend! I had just as much fun, and I am pleased that you all enjoyed yourselves. We sure covered a lot of ground. I appreciate your support and enthusiasm for my patterns. It keeps me going! Thanks also for making my stay so enjoyable. You are all so kind and welcoming. Julia is a great hostess! I would love to come back. Let's keep in touch. Take care, Marie.

UPDATE: "When measuring, a trick I learned from Maggie Righetti, is to measure the whole fabric and then divide by the number of stitches." I have this backwards -- it should read: "Divide the number of stitches by the whole length of the fabric." Sorry for the confusion. I will try to update it soon at WP. Kim

Love, love, LOVE the snowman sweater...I definitely need to check out the new patterns next time I'm in....I missed the boat Friday when I was in--but as there was so little working brain left at 3:45 having just finished the first two weeks of school I was clueless and am just now catching up on blog reading (thank goodness there is time for remediation)
