The Wednesday, Community Knitting group was asked to help out Angela's Piazza by knitting an afghan. So, the group jumped in to work on a bright, spring-like afghan that could be used for a raffle item for Angela's.
The work began with the group choosing and then rechoosing colors. I know rechoosing is not a word but with knitters and crocheters, it should be. You see, we had to pick just the right colors. This was NOT easy.
So, the knitting began and each person was to knit 16 squares. Some in the group chose to knit 40 and some knit 4. Today was the day to put it all together to see what the end result will be.

The random nature of the this afghan make for a scrap quilt look. The color choices of each knitter really do come together in the end. Now, we must get brave and ask our illustrious finisher Joan, if she will help put this all together. Wish me luck!
