It's A First

This week finds me with no one at home other than my darling labs. My hubby is visiting his dad, my youngest is visiting cousins in Helena and my eldest is house sitting for our friends. So what is a mom to do with a quiet home, far too many unfinished projects and a newsletter that must get completed pronto? I sit with my newest creation...crochet!

I have always wanted to bring knitters and crocheters together. I have always wanted to be able to help crocheters with questions and most of all, I have been dying to do a granny square.

I guess as I grow older (even though I am loving my new age which requires a zero as the last digit) I very fondly remember the afghan my neighbor made for my teen bedroom. She crocheted a darling granny square blanket for my bed. It was so cool and all my friends thought I had the coolest room in town.

Well, the projects have waited this long and the newsletter will get finished, eventually. Tonight, however, I am going to crochet as long as my fingers will hold out!
