Friday Finishing Parties
February 12, March 12 and April 9
Noon to 5:30pm
Bring in your pieces, your half completed hats, mittens, sweaters and even the Christmas stocking that didn't
quite make it on the mantel. We will help you get closer and closer to completion with the goal of
Finishing your projects!
Our blocking board and wires will be available for use each Finishing Friday. We await you and your projects!
Guerilla Knitting at the YAM
Friday, March 26 from 5 to 8pm
A wine and cheese party of knitting and embellishing will take place on Friday, March 26th from 5 to 8pm. Guerilla knitting is the kindest form of graffitti or embellishment, if you will. We will spread kindness through knitting. Come join the fun of embellishing the front of the Yellowstone Art Museum (401 North 27th Street) with other knitters and fiber lovers. ALL ARE WELCOME and encouraged to attend and knit or crochet the front columns of the museum.
This is all in preparation for the Polly Apfelbaum exhibit opening night, Thursday, April 1st. Wild Purls is a corporate sponsor for this exciting event. Polly is a fiber artist who will be bringing her fabulous installation to Billings. She is known for her vibrant, organic installations of fabric and fiber in museums across the country.
