I recently looked at my roses, which are doing very well thank you, even with the enormous neglect they receive at my house. The weather has been cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon which sounds like fall weather. However, it is a rare fall without snow at some point in the months of September, October and November.
Halloween has passed and no snow. These photos show roses with a pumpkin growing as a surprise companion to the Bed of Roses corner in my back yard.

We did cut the pumpkins and use them for the coolest Jack-o-lanterns ever in the history of pumpkin carving.

I am feeling very smug with my holiday knitting well under way and not a flake on the ground. Life in Montana is always unpredictable.
