Cat Bordhi arrived to good weather, eager knitters and many fans.

Anyone who has been near Cat comes away having learned so much about knitting. Not everyone can look at a stitch and turn it on its ear...but Cat does just that. This weekend, Cat has signed many books, greeted knitters, encouraged the frustrated and totally captivated an entire city of knitters.
The Wild Purls crew was happy to greet Cat!

Friday morning rolled around to an entire room of captivated knitters. Needles and yarn were flying. The room was quiet with anticipation of what was to come.

The concentration was intense.

Cat took time for every knitter in the room and taught more tricks and tips than most could absorb.

The anatomy of a stitch offers numerous possibilities.

The entire Friday group of knitters were so excited about all they had learned, they begged me to take their photo.

Then they wanted another so I indulged them. But I insisted they return to their yarn and needles. What a bunch of hams!

The learning continued until the final minutes.

Smiles began to be seen.

Laughter could be heard when the knitters began to finish, yes I did say FINISH their socks.

Here is one beautiful sock...no holes, no gusset, and a whole lot of WOW!

Saturday brings the Mobius.
