What a wonderful day we had on Saturday with the Grand Opening! We now feel we are home and we love our location on 24th Street. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we thought we'd share a few from the day.
You are greeted by our giant balls of yarn and then...
...smiling faces and happy knitters or soon to be knitters are waiting to kick up their needles or hooks.
The surprised looks on a few faces can't help but be overwhelmed at all the wonderful yarn, patterns, needles and classes.
Smiles abound when the Wild Purls knitters meet the Mountain Colors crew. Yes, that's Diana and Leslie meeting their fans. We are so fortunate to carry the most beautiful yarn from Montana called Mountain Colors. The business is located south of Missoula and the owners drove to Billings for our big day.
Other knitters came from far away just to see our new location. They all decided that the trip was well worth it and they promised they'd be back soon.
A few wore their special outfits that they'd recently finished and the "oohs and ahhs" were heard throughout the shop.
Even at the end of the day, when things had settled down, the smiles were still from ear to ear. We enjoyed seeing so many of you and thank each and everyone who came in to celebrate our new location. We love our new shop and hope to see you all of you often. Many thanks for making the Grand Opening so very grand!
