Just because Julia and Linda are at Yarn Market and I have been designated as "Interim Ranch Manager" at Wild Purls, certain rumors need to be addressed:
1. Wild Purls is NOT open 24/7 with all yarn marked 20% off.
2. There is NOT an open bar at WP's with Bloody Marys served from opening til noon; Mai Tais served in the afternoon if you are wearing a Hawaiian print shirt and singing a Jimmy Buffett song.
3. There is NOT 5% off for knowing all verses to any Keith Urban song.
4. There is NOT 5% off if you can name my pup.
5. There is NOT 10% off if you can name Julia's 2 pups.
5. There is NOT a contest to see who can knit embellishments better that Nicky Epstein...we all know that Linda can do that in her sleep.
OK, that's all in fun but it has been a treat to be in the shop to see all of you and chat about yarn, for crying out loud. What could be better?
I cannot wait til Julia and Linda are back, to fill us all full of new yarns and new yarn stories. What fun it will be.
