This past Friday, after the big announcement of our special guest Cat Bordhi coming to Wild Purls September 30th to October 3rd, a group of hardy knitters ventured across the street to Bones Brewery for a microbrewery tour and tasting.
We learned that micro brewing and knitting are very similar. A micro brew uses enormous planning, the best of ingredients and a pinch of luck. These are mixed together to create something special. Knitting something special uses enormous planning, the best of ingredients and a pinch of luck. Hummm we are cut or knit from the same cloth.
Our "Brew meister" gave a wonderful tour and tasting.

He entertained us with his enthusiasm and of course, beer.

A jolly good time was had by all!
